Guwahati: Fire Breaks Out In City's Residential Apartment

Guwahati: A massive fire broke at a residential apartment near VIP road here in Guwahati on Friday.

According to reports, the fire broke out on the sixth floor of Palacia apartments.

Upon receiving the information of the same, several fire trucks arrived on the spot and it took them an hour to douse the fire.

Fortunately, no casualties have been reported in the incident so far. However, the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.

Reportedly, properties worth Rs lakh have been gutted in the fire.

Recently, a few days ago, at least seven people, including two children, were injured in the fire which broke out in the city's Rehabari area.

According to reports, it is being said that due to a cylinder explosion, the fire broke out.
