Guwahati: LGBI Airport Reduces Parking Fee From January 10

Guwahati: The parking fees at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International (LGBI) Airport have been reduced from January 10.

Since high parking fees for private vehicles at the said airport have been a major concern for passengers, therefore, the airport authority has opted to implement new parking rates from January 10.

Reportedly, according to the new rules, the airport will not charge any parking fee for the first 10 minutes. However, from 10 to 30 minutes, Rs 30 will be charged for parking at the airport.

On the other hand, post 30 minutes, Rs 80 will be charged for light vehicles and Rs 120 for heavy vehicles like buses, trucks, and tempos, etc.

Presently, one has to pay Rs 30 as soon as they enter the premises of the airport.
