Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) superintendent Manjit Bujarbaruah suspended

GUWAHATI: The government placed GMC (Guwahati Municipal Corporation) Superintendent Manjit Bujarbaruah under suspension for his alleged role in the Bharalumukh garbage disposal scam. The suspension order came following the report of GMC Joint Commissioner Pankaj Chakravarty.

Manjit was working in the administrative department of the civic body. He alleged to have embezzled Rs 40 lakh in the name of Bharalu garbage disposal.
