GUWAHATI: The Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) on Monday completed repairing of its water pipelines damaged due to construction work by some other departments. Damages in pipelines over the Pan Bazar overbridge on Friday deprived residents of many city localities from getting drinking water in the last three days.
"Repairing of the damaged pipelines was completed on Monday. We have started supplying water from Pan Bazar water treatment plants to various reservoirs located at different areas. Drinking water supply should be normal from Tuesday," a GMCofficial said.
