Guwahati Police book people for not wearing masks during lockdown

GUWAHATI: The Guwahati Police took stern actions against the people who violated the revised guidelines for lockdown by not wearing masks, on Wednesday. While, the Paltan Bazar Police arrested 11 persons for not wearing masks, the Panbazar Police held five. The Paltan Bazar PS registered a case – 290/2020 against the people; similarly Panbazar booked the accused under case no – 228/2020. Meanwhile, 16 people were held by the Satgaon Police and Noonmati Police each. 5 people by Latasil Police, 21 people by Fatasil Ambari Police, 13 people by Bharalumukh Police, 10 people by Gorchuk Police and 7 people by Dispur Police.
