Guwahati Refinery conducts free eye camp in city

GUWAHATI: As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, Guwahati Refinery recently conducted a free eye-screening camp at its Community Development Hall, Sector-II, Noonmati for the marginalized people of Noonmati and its adjacent areas, stated a press release.

The camp was organized in collaboration with Sri Sankardeva Nethralaya, Guwahati. Around 300 persons from Noonmati and its adjacent areas like Soonchali, Sector-I, Gopal Nagar, Salbari, Bhawanipur, Bijoynagar, Mathgharia, Ananda Nagar and Sankar Nagar attended the camp. The beneficiaries of the camp will be provided with free prescription spectacles and free cataract surgery.
