Guwahati Refinery Officers Contribute to CM Relief Fund

GUWAHATI: The officers of Guwahati Refinery have donated their half-day salary to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund as support to the state government’s efforts for carrying out relief measures in the flood-affected areas of Assam.

A sum of Rs. 8,16,457 has been donated by the officers of the Refinery as a symbol of their solidarity with the people of Assam in this hour of need. The cheque for the amount was handed over to Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal by S Manchanda, Executive Director, Guwahati Refinery at his office on Friday, a press release said.

The Executive Director was accompanied by D Kapoor, CGM (project); SP Baruah, CGM (TS & HSE); NK Chakraborty, CGM (T); Anjana Baruah Sarma, CGM (HR) and representatives of IOOA, Guwahati Refinery.
