GUWAHATI: “The ultimate power-centric affairs of the Congress-led INDIA in various parts of the country have proved that these parties have no commitment to the people of the country. The conflicts of NDA allies with the Congress will disarray INDIA,” said state BJP chief spokesperson Manoj Baruah at a press meet at NJP headquarters at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Bhawan.

Baruah further stated, “The chief minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar, who is one of the thinkers of the INDIA, recently remarked that Congress has no commitment to implement the programmes of the alliance. Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav said that Congress will face the same treatment just like Madhya Pradesh did to SP over seat sharing. Similarly, former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir Omar Abdullah clearly stated about the internal turmoil in the alliance.”

“The Congress has been agitating against the Kerala Left Morcha, the Aam Aadmi Party in Punjab, and the Trinamool Congress of West Bengal, who are in partnership with the INDIA. In such a situation, the INDIA cannot give credibility to the common people. The stand of the Congress and its MLAs during the Amrit Kalash Yatra has exposed that the Congress has no takers among the people. During the Rajya Sabha elections, the Congress MLAs have proved their untrustworthiness through cross-voting,” Baruah added.

“BJP had launched a massive organizational campaign at BTR. There are 40 constituencies where 40 senior party workers have been given responsibility. These in-charges will be inspecting every booth of 40 constituencies under BTR in November, and in December, an empowerment programme will be organized at the booth levels. On the other hand, every assembly constituency under BTR has been appointed with one BJP MLA in charge. Similarly, a senior minister has been given the responsibility for two or three assembly constituencies of the BTR. From cabinet ministers to state office bearers, all have been strongly focused on booth empowerment in the BTR,” Baruah added.

A public rally was organized at Bhergaon in BTR on Saturday. There will be similar meetings held in every assembly constituency and council constituency in the BTR.
