GUWAHATI: The Indian Railways will restore the services of few special trains in NF Railway (NFR) for the benefit of passengers. To clear the rush of passengers, it has also been decided to extend the services of special train running between Okha and Guwahati with existing timings, stoppages, composition, days of run and with revised timings at few stations.
The following Northeast Frontier Railway train service will be restored –
• Services of Train No. 05621 Kamakhya – Anand Vihar (T) special express leaving from Kamakhya at 05-35 hours on every Thursday to reach Anand Vihar (T) at 18-15 hours on next day will be restored from June 17. In the return direction, Services of Train No. 05622 Anand Vihar (T) - Kamakhya Special Express leaving from Anand Vihar (T) at 23-45 hours every Friday to reach Kamakhya at 15-30 hours on the third day will be restored from June 18.
• Services of Train No. 05624 Kamakhya – Bhagat Ki Kothi Special Express leaving from Kamakhya at 17-15 hours every Friday to reach Bhagat Ki Kothi at 21-45 hours on the third day will be restored from June 18. In the return direction, services of Train No. 05623 Bhagat Ki Kothi - Kamakhya Special Express leaving from Bhagat Ki Kothi at 16-10 hours every Tuesday to reach Kamakhya at 23-10 hours on the third day will be restored from June 22.
•Services of Train No. 05640 Kamakhya – Puri special express leaving from Kamakhya at 20-10 hours on every Sunday to reach Puri at 02-55 hours on the third day will be restored from June 20. In the return direction, Services of Train No. 05639 Puri - Kamakhya special express leaving from Puri at 14-55 hours on every Tuesday to reach Kamakhya at 21-35 hours on next day will be restored from June 22.
Moreover, services of the following trains have been extended —
Services of Train No. 09501/09502 Okha – Guwahati – Okha special leaving from Okha on Friday have been extended for more one trip to run on June 18 and leaving from Guwahati on Monday has also been extended for another trip to run on June 21.
The details of stoppages and timings of these trains are available on Railway's website and are also being notified in various newspapers and social media platforms of the NFR. Passengers are requested to see these details before undertaking their journey.
On arrival at their destination, the passengers will have to adhere to prevailing health protocols of the destination State, stated a release.
