GUWAHATI: The Fight against Injustice of APSC has alleged that the State's Skill, Employment & Entrepreneurship Department hastily and without proper planning organized the job fair in the State recently since it had to utilize the fund sanctioned under the National Career Service (NCS) project.
"According to the information we have, the Department of Skill, Recruitment and Entrepreneurship (SEED) did not take any well-planned steps regarding the recruitment fair. The Department of Skills, Recruitment and Entrepreneurship had sent instruction to the Directorate of Employment & Craftsmen Training (DECT) to hold the job fair only on December 10. The DECT on December 13 directed the District Employment Exchanges to hold the job fairs on December 23, 2021 and January 4, 2022.
On the basis of the order the employment exchanges hastily organized the job fair in 22 districts on December 23. The consequence of organizing such unplanned job fairs has already been seen," Fight Against Injustice of APSC admin Manas Pratim Baruah said on Monday.
