Koch Rajbongshi National Convention hails move for interim KAC

GUWAHATI: The Koch Rajbongshi National Convention (KRNC) has welcomed the Cabinet decision to appoint the interim Kamatapur Autonomous Council (KAC) members.

In a statement issued to the press on Wednesday, KRNC general secretary Biswajit Ray said, "We want people who are fit and have been associated with the movement of the Koch-Rajbongshis should be made members of the Council, instead of using the Council as a means for political rehabilitation. We want the Council be formed within January, 2021."
