The party has sent a memorandum to the Prime Minister through the district commissioner Kamrup (M) regarding the Union budget and the CAA (Citizenship Amendment Act). The LDM took out the protest march by extending their support to the appeal made by left democratic parties for nationwide protest from February 12 to 18. The manch claimed that the budget 2020 consists of several anti-people policies.
