Liquor worth Rs 6 crore sold during Vishwakarma Puja celebration in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: Liquor worth over Rs 6 crore was sold during the Vishwakarma Puja celebration in Guwahati on September 17.

The Assam Excise Department revealed that Guwahati registered liquor sales of Rs 6.2 crore on Vishwakarma Puja. Meanwhile, on Sunday, the excise revenue generated from liquor sales was around Rs 2.25 crore.
