Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport Receives ISO-10002:2018 Certification

GUWAHATI: The Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (LGBIA) of Guwahati has been given an ISO certification following an extensive assessment of the airport’s quality management system, operational management, and development. ISO 10002:2018 is a globally recognised certification for quality management systems under the scope of operation, management, and development. This certification affirms LGBI Airport’s commitment to the implementation of industrial best practices to manage the airport’s quality, operation, and development.

After receiving this certification, a Guwahati airport spokesperson said, “ We are proud to achieve the esteemed ISO certification. It reflects that our teams have ensured that our quality management system is reliable and also happy to meet the industry standard and best practice.” He also congratulated the entire team for their collective efforts that have resulted in being certified by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
