Man booked for sheltering 5 Tripura youths who were advised of home quarantine

GUWAHATI: A case has been registered against a member of Jamaat-e-Islaami Hind, Hedayetpur named Abdul Bashir, for sheltering five youths from Tripura who was advised of home quarantine, here on Tuesday. According to reports, due to lockdown the youths were staying at a hotel in Paltanbazar but on Tuesday they shifted to Jamaat-e-Islaami Hind. The youths are –Yakub Ali (26), Mahmood Ali (18), Anwar Ali (23), Abdul Hussain (24) and Manowar Ali (22). After noticing the arrival of the youths at the organization, locals of the area informed Latasil Police Station. Later the police admitted the youths to Sarusajai Quarantine Camp.
