Man robbed via ATM fraud, FIR lodged at Dispur Police Station

GUWAHATI: An 80-year-old man named Umesh Chandra Bora has lodged an FIR at the Dispur Police Station to report that a group of three miscreants fraudulently withdrew Rs 1,25,000 from his bank account after interacting with him at an ATM near the Down Town Hospital here on Sunday evening.

Bora stated in his complaint that the miscreants forced him into allowing them to handle his ATM card. Subsequently, he received SMS intimation from his bank that the amount mentioned was withdrawn via several transactions.
