Martyr freedom fighters to be recalled today throughout the country

GUWAHATI: Martyrs' Day will be observed on January 30 throughout the country in memory of those who sacrificed their lives during the struggle for India's freedom. In this regard, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, has issued instructions to stop work and movement on the day at 11 am and observe silence for two minutes. It has also been instructed that, wherever feasible, the commencement and termination of the two minutes' silence period should be indicated by sound of siren or Army guns.
