Meghalaya Governor Satya Pal Malik attends sixth convocation of USTM

GUWAHATI: The sixth convocation of the University of Science and Technology Meghalaya (USTM) was held successfully here on Tuesday in presence of the Governor of Meghalaya Satya Pal Malik and a galaxy of Vice Chancellors and dignitaries. Altogether 1,332 graduates were awarded degrees, out of which 10 scholars were awarded PhD degrees, 925 students were awarded Post Graduate degrees and 397 students were awarded Undergraduate degrees.

The event began with the solemn and elegant academic procession which was led by the Registrar of the University, participated by the Academic Council members, members of the Board of Governors, Deans of Schools, Heads of Departments and the Professors of the University, stated a release.
