Minister Parimal Sukladbaidya launched Plantation drive at Topatoli in Khetri

DIMORIA: Assam's Forests & Environment Minister Parimal Sukladbaidya on Sunday launched a mass tree plantation drive at Topatoli in Khetri near here under the Sonapur Forest Range.

Saplings will be planted in an area of one hectare during the drive.

Addressing an awareness meeting on the occasion, Suklabaidya emphasized the importance of afforestation drives to maintain ecological balance.

A number of senior officials of the Forest Department were also present on the occasion.
