National-level seminar to be organized on NEP and Nursing Education

GUWAHATI: The M.Sc. Nursing students of the Regional College of Nursing in Guwahati will organize a one-day national-level CNE (Continuing Nursing Education) programme on “National Education Policy and Nursing Education: A Path towards Transformative Excellence” on August 24, 2023, from 8:00 A.M. onwards at the Cardiothoracic and Neurosciences Centre Hall of the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital.

Prof. Alak Kr. Buragohain, Chancellor of GIMT; Prof. Nilima Bhagabati, Chairman of ERC- National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE); Dr. Jyoti Sarin, Dean for the Faculty of Nursing in Maharishi Markandeshwar College of Nursing in Ambala, Prof. Nochoveno Tase, Principal of NEIGRIHMS College of Nursing in Shillong, Prof. Arunjyoti Baruah, HOD, Dept. of Psychiatric Nursing, LGBRIMH College of Nursing, Tezpur, Dr. Parag Phukan, Dept. of Geology, Gauhati University, Prof. Sikhar Kr. Sarma, Dean for Technology, Gauhati University, and Dr. Smriti Kana Mani, Principal, OSD Nursing, Directorate, Govt. of West Bengal, will grace the programme as resource persons for all the participants of the national-level seminar.
