New chairperson of FICCI FLO North East Dr Santasree Mallik Bhuyan takes charge

 GUWAHATI: Dr Santasree Mallik Bhuyan took charge as the chairperson of FICCI FLO North East in Delhi FICCI (Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industries) House on March 31, 2023. She will be working on women’s empowerment as well as upskilling in Northeast. By profession, she is a teacher and is working in Handique Girls’ College as an Associate Professor. She is the Head of the Department of Bengali. Dr Bhuyan is well known as a social activist and the dounder president of the AADYAA Foundation. One of her areas of interest is textiles and she is working as an honorary MD of AJAKA Handloom– a silk manufacturing unit. She has a daughter.
