NIA suo moto case against KMSS leader Akhil Gogoi

GUWAHATI: The National Investigating Agency (NIA) has filed a suo moto case against KMSS leader Akhil Gogoi under Sections 120 (b)/124(a)/153(a)/153(b) of IPC and 18/39 of Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. Gogoi was produced before a Special Court of NIA on Tuesday and remanded to 10 days NIA custody. The Assam Police initially arrested Gogoi and the NIA later took over his custody.
