Plea to conduct special TET again

GUWAHATI: A joint meeting of the All Assam Sanyogi Siksha Karmi Union, Sanyogi Siksha karmi Santha, EV Santha and Siksha Sevak-Sevika Santha was held in the city on Tuesday.

All these organizations have appealed to the Chief Minister and State Education Minister to again conduct special TET. All Assam Sanyogi Siksha Karmi Union president Abdul Kalam said that in the special TET conducted earlier, almost 96 per cent of the candidates who had appeared were unsuccessful. "We, therefore, appeal to the government to conduct special TET again," he said.
