AGP reposes full faith in NDA

GUWAHATI: After the 38-party NDA meeting held in New Delhi yesterday, the AGP said here in Assam that they will stand by the NDA as the Northeast and the country are making strides and the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is making the nation bright in the world. From the AGP, party president and Cabinet Minister Atul Bora and working president and Cabinet Minister Keshab Mahanta attended the NDA meeting yesterday.

Speaking to The Sentinel after arriving in Guwahati today, Atul Bora said, "Yesterday's meeting was on the occasion of the NDA completing 25 years. We attended the meeting at the invitation of BJP president JP Nadda. All 38 parties that attended the meeting are convinced that the NDA will make it to New Delhi again as the changes that have taken place in the country on the development front under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi are visible to all. The Prime Minister's initiatives have made the country bright at the international level as well. The NDA will perform better in Assam, too, in the 2024 Lok Sabha election, as the development works that Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma's government is doing in the state are all visible. In providing government jobs to the jobless, the State Government is on its way to achieving a milestone by recruiting over one lakh youths. Various other regional parties from the Northeast also took part in the NDA meeting yesterday. They all expressed their willingness to stay united with the NDA. This will certainly make the NDA do better in the Lok Sabha in other Northeastern states."

He further said, "At the end of the meeting yesterday, all political parties adopted many resolutions. Some of the key resolutions are: all allies of the National Democratic Alliance repose full faith in the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to attain a bigger mandate in 2024 than that in 2019. The NDA constituents make a proclamation to emerge victorious in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi with a bigger mandate, powered by massive public support and blessings."

The NDA parties laud Prime Minister Narendra Modi for propelling India on the path of unprecedented development through his commitment, devotion, unrelenting hard work, and selfless dedication, and for giving the citizens the opportunity to feel proud over the realization of the power and prowess of their country. "The NDA constituents unanimously commit that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as participants in this development journey, we are one, we are united, and we are unanimous."
