Police seized stolen goods worth Rs 70 lakh in Guwahati city, one arrested

GUWAHATI: Noonmati police recovered goods stolen from mobile towers, including laptops, from the Gandhi Mandap area.

According to police sources, the seized goods include six laptops, five battery shells, 23 radio remote units, tower wires, etc., worth around Rs 70 lakh. The police also arrested Zaved Malik, a notorious thief in Delhi, in this connection in Guwahati. The police suspect the involvement of gangs of thieves from other states in such theft incidents.
