Prohibitory orders under Section 144 CrPC in Kamrup District

GUWAHATI: Kamrup District Magistrate Keerthi Jally today promulgated some prohibitions under section 144 CrPC for holding free, fair and transparent recruitment for class- III and class- IV posts on August 21, August 28 and September 11 respectively in the 100 metres radius of the examination centres during the examination hours.

DCP (Administration) Hemanta Kumar Das also promulgated Section 144 CrPC prohibiting assembly of more than five persons, agitation, demonstration, procession and shouting of slogans inside the SEBA complex, Bamunimaidam, Guwahati within a radius of 100 metres without prior permission from the competent authority.
