GUWAHATI: The Punjab National Bank (PNB) made a contribution of Rs 25 lakhs to the 'Chief Minister's Relief Fund, Assam' in an effort to solidifying the Government's initiatives in fighting the current COVID-19 situation in the State. Keeping the tradition of standing in solidarity with the people of Assam and the State government, a cheque for the said amount of Rs 25 lakh was presented to the Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma by Shio Shankar Singh, Zonal Manager for the North-Eastern region of the Bank in a meeting held at the Janata Bhavan on June 4.
