Ramen Deka appointed as State Innovation and Transformation Aayog vice chairman

GUWAHATI: The Government of Assam has appointed Ramen Deka, ex-Member of Parliament, as Vice-Chairman of the State Innovation and Transformation Aayog (SITA) with the rank and status of a Cabinet Minister. Disclosing this, a press release stated that Deka was earlier holding the post of co-Vice Chairman and that a Government Notification dated yesterday also announced that Dhruba Prasad Baishya has been appointed as the new co-Vice Chairman of SITA.
