Regional Outreach Bureau (ROB) Guwahati organizes Yogotsav 2022

GUWAHATI: As a part of the countdown to International Yoga Day, the Regional Outreach Bureau, Guwahati under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting organized a Yogotsav (Yoga Workshop) today at Assam Khadi and Village Industries Board auditorium, Chandmari.

SN Pradhan, Additional Director General, ROB, Guwahati while inaugurating the Yogotsav said, "We should practise yoga to have a healthy mind and body.:

He urged everyone to do yoga in their daily lives to stay energetic and have a strong immune system.

Arijit Chakraborty, Deputy Director, ROB, Guwahati, in his welcome address, said that the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting is organizing various publicity programmes to mark the countdown to International Yoga Day, 2022.

On this occasion, quiz competitions and extempore speech competitions on the theme of toga were organized among the school students by ROB Guwahati.

Staff artistes of the Song & Drama Division also showcased cultural programmes on this occasion, a press release said.
