Republican Party of India releases party poll manifesto

GUWAHATI: The Assam State Committee of the Republican Party of India (A) released their party manifesto on Friday. The party has fielded candidates in Barpeta, Dhubri and Guwahati constituencies of Assam and Guwahati candidate, Sadek Ali was also present during the release. Addressing the press, General Secretary of the party’s Assam Committee, Nathoni Das intimated about the agendas of the party and stated that the party’s aim is to secure the livelihood of the landless and the small traders. According to the manifesto, the party will strive for the development of the farmers, ensure socio-political equality for the women of the state and pluck out the cause behind price hike, among others.
