Resumption of Mail & Express Trains via Malda town

GUWAHATI: With the improvement of law & order situation over affected areas of West Bengal, the NF Railway started gradually restoring few long-distance trains to mitigate the problem of stranded passengers. The trains which were canceled earlier have been re-introduced to run via Malda town. It may be mentioned here that the NF Railway is also running goods trains over this affected section so that there is no shortage of the essential commodity in NE region in spite of operational constraints.
