Ripun Bora sets up a control room at APCC Headquarters in view of COVID-19 outbreak

GUWAHATI: In view of the worldwide outbreak of COVID-19 and the nationwide lockdown, the APCC (Assam Pradesh Congress Committee) president Ripun Bora has set up a control room at the APCC Headquarters, in Guwahati on Wednesday. In compliance with the coronavirus protocol of social distancing and avoidance of gathering, the control room will be manned by only two Congress workers per day on a roster basis. The control room will keep in touch with all DCC, BCC and other agencies to receive information about problems faced by the people living in Assam, other states or abroad. The APCC has also issued helpline numbers in this regard.
