Say No to firecrackers: Pollution Control Board, Assam

GUWAHATI: The Pollution Control Board, Assam (PCBA) has appealed to all in the State to observe Green Diwali, without firecrackers. It said that firecrackers pollute the air and cause environmental problems and health hazards, besides harming other living beings. The PCBA further said that taking the COVID-19 situation in view, all should Say No to firecrackers during the Diwali.
