Second charge sheet reveals child abuse by doctor couple Sangeeta Datta and Waliul Islam

GUWAHATI: The second charge sheet was submitted against the doctor couple of psychiatrist Sangeeta Datta and general surgeon Waliul Islam and the details point out the inhumane treatment of the children. According to sources, the 23-page 2nd chargesheet pointed out the extreme physical and sexual abuse subjected to the children rescued by the police.

Upon investigation of case number 201/2023 registered at the Paltan Bazar police station, the police found out that the children were actually procured with a payment of Rs 1 lakh. They had arranged fake birth certificates for the children.
