Security reviewed for Union Home Minister Amit Shah visit

GUWAHATI: In view of the visit of Union Home Minister Amit Shah to Guwahati on December 26, Chief Secretary Jishnu Baruah and DGP Bhaskarjyoti Mahanta visited Kumar Bhaskar Barman Kshetra at Amingaon on Thursday and took stock of the preparations. They also went to the IB where the Union Minister will be staying overnight. They also reviewed the security deployment for the programme. Senior State Government and Police officials were present during their review, a press release said.
