Smuggled cattle seized, 7 held by Assam Police

GUWAHATI: In two separate operations, teams of the East Guwahati Police District (EGPD) from the Khetri and Sonapur Police Stations on Sunday intercepted two Bolero and one Tata DI vehicles carrying 21 cows illegally.

According to police sources, the vehicles were coming from Moirabari in Morigaon and Rupohihat in Nagaon respectively. Seven persons have been arrested in this connection, the sources said.
