Special Task Force apprehended three Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances peddlers; 30 kg cannabis seized

GUWAHATI: A joint operation led by the Special Task Force (STF) of Assam along with personnel from Basistha Police Station apprehended three Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) peddlers identified as Rajesh Rai (32), Hrithik Raj (18), and Uday Kumar (19) near Khanapara flyover on Saturday. The team seized 30 kg of cannabis from their possession.

According to sources, the cannabis was to be delivered to Baihata Chariali, which was brought from Karimganj. The apprehended people and the seized items were handed over to Basistha Police Station to conduct an investigation by registering a case under the appropriate section of the law.
