Special Task Force apprehends two female peddlers with heroin in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: The Special Task Force (STF) conducted a raid based on inputs near the Khanapara bus stand under the jurisdiction of Dispur Police Station and apprehended two habitual female drug peddlers.

The team recovered 43 vials containing suspected heroin weighing 54.5 Grams, Rs. 5,680 in cash, and one mobile handset. The apprehended peddlers are identified as Sunita Basumatary alias Angel (19) under Basistha Police Station and Pranita Das (45), who is a resident of Patbaochi but currently resides in Deba Nagar near Khanapara under Dispur police station.
