Special Task Force arrests four with heroin in Kamrup (M) district

GUWAHATI: The Special Task Force (STF) arrested four drug peddlers, including two women with heroin weighing 119.9 gm, at Khanapara overbridge on Thursday.

According to sources, based on input, the STF conducted a raid under the Khanapara overbridge. The team arrested four, identified as Dhon Rabha (27), Ainul Sheikh (27), Ketep Boro (44), and Sunabanu Begum (36), all from Kamrup (M) district.

The STF seized 86 vials concealed with heroin, Rs 11,100 in cash, and three mobile phones. The peddlers, along with the seized items, were handed over to the Basistha Police Station.
