State Bank of India Staff Association concern over Citizenship Amendment Act

GUWAHATI: State Bank of India Staff Association North Eastern Circle having membership in all North Eastern States express its deep concern over the prevailing situation in the NE region after passing the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill. “We also condemn the brutal killing of five innocent youth and injuring hundreds of protesters who were peacefully protesting against the CAA. We demand a CBI inquiry in all such police firing. We pay our homage to the departed soul and express our solidarity to each family members,” says Pradip Kumar Baishya, General Secretary of the association.
