State BJP chief Ranjeet Kumar Dass dissolves all minority morchas until further order

GUWAHATI: State BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) president Ranjeet Kumar Dass has dissolved the Saffron party's minority morcha units including district and Mandal committees until further order.

The decision was taken in view of the party's poor election outcome in the minority inhabited areas. In some areas where the minority population is high, the party secured fewer votes than the 20-member booth committees. In this regard, a notification was issued by State BJP general secretary under the direction of Dass that the dissolution order will stay in effect until further order.
