GUWAHATI: Three rhinos have been relocated to the Assam State Zoo from the Centre for Wildlife Rehabilitation and Conservation (CWRC) at the Kaziranga National Park.
According to Ashwini Kumar, DFO of the State zoo, the rhinos were brought on Thursday in three separate vehicles with wooden enclosure. The animals will be kept in isolation in separate enclosures inside the zoo for one month before being displayed to the public, he said.
Veterinarians have been monitoring the animals' health since they arrived at the zoo, Kumar added.
