Sub-inspector of food and civil supplies Kamrup (M) spelt out rules for fair price shops

GUWAHATI: The sub-inspector of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumers Affairs, Kamrup (M) district, Bichitra Kumar Nath has spelt out certain rules for each and every fair price shop to obey.

The rules are – keeping soap and water for hand wash, a diagrammatic presentation of a queue with one metre apart, all should stand in a queue in front shops, not more than 30 people should enter the shop at a time, compulsory distribution of Food Security and Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana rice free of cost to consumers for the months of April, May and June 2020, etc.

He has also asked the fair price shop owners to display an awareness slogan appealing to the people – live and let us live, maintain the social distance.
