GUWAHATI: The twenty-sixth day of the third phase of the COVID-19 vaccination has been conducted successfully across the entire state, with citizens aged 60 years and above, and those between 45 and 59 years with comorbidities receiving the COVID-19 vaccine, along with healthcare workers (HCWs) and frontline workers (FLWs) of Assam, a press release said.
A cumulative total of 8,70,578 beneficiaries have received the first dose while 1,40,728 beneficiaries have received the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine with only a cumulative of 85 cases of AEFI being reported till 26 March 2021 (9 PM) across Assam.
Around 31,918 beneficiaries aged 60 years and above, and 18,455 beneficiaries between 45 and 59 years of age with comorbidities have received the first dose and 16 beneficiaries aged 60 years and above of the COVID-19 have received the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine today, across the entire state, till 6 pm.
Also, 2,027 Healthcare workers (HCWs) and 3,706 Frontline Workers (FLWs) have received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, while 1,425 HCWs and 2,923 FLWs have received the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine today, till 6 pm.
Around 1,325 sessions have been conducted today across the entire state, till 6 pm.
No cases of AEFI have been reported till 6 pm today, the release added.
