Tribute programme for artistes organized at Dighalipukhuri, Guwahati

GUWAHATI: A programme was organized at Dighalipukhuri to pay tribute to three noted artistes of the State who passed away this year.

The programme was organized by All Guwahati Students' Union, Guwahati Cine Musicians Association and Suratirtha, Swaranjali, Surabahini, Yubatirtha, and Dipak Sangha where singers Kula Baruah and Monoranjan Gogoi along with flutist and musician Prabhat Sarma were remembered.

"We have lost three stars from the music world. They all made our society culturally rich and showed path to the young generation," said All Assam Students' Union chief advisor Samujjal Bhattacharya who also attended the programme.
