Two drug peddlers arrested; brown sugar and heroin seized in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: A team of Central Guwahati Police District from Paltan Bazar Police Station arrested a drug peddler from KFC Bata path on Saturday.

The drug peddler is identified as Sultana Begum.

Police recovered five grams of Brown sugar, 18 empty vials, a mobile phone and a syringe. On the other hand, another team of the Central Guwahati Police District from Chandmari Police Station arrested a person from Gandhibasti on Saturday evening. He is identified as Dipul Boro.

Police recovered 24.92 grams of heroin kept in vials and 1.43 grams of heroin in a pouch.
