UP youth with fake documents from Assam arrested in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: CISF (Central Industrial Secuirty Force) authorities in Guwahati caught a UP candidate who faced the physical test for recruitment as a constable in the CISF with fake documents showing him a candidate from Assam today. The CISF handed over the candidate to the Noonmati police, leading to his arrest.

According to police sources, the CISF held the physical test for the post of constables at the field of Sector II in the Noonmati area today. During the scrutiny of the documents of the candidates, the CISF officials detected that a candidate named Agrasen Singh Chouhan hailing from Uttar Pradesh produced fake documents that show him as a resident of Karbi Anglong. The CISF informed the Noonmati police of the matter. The police caught the youth and arrested him. An investigation is underway.
