Youth arrested with heroin in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: On the basis of information, the Paltan Bazar Police arrested one peddler with suspected heroin on Tuesday evening.

According to sources, the peddler is identified as Nuruddin (18) of Parbati Nagar, near Bhalukdubi Medical, in Goalpara district. The police seized 62.50 grams suspected heroin from KC Patowary Road, Ulubari.

The police also seized one iPhone and a scooty bearing registration AS 01 FL 6966 from his possession.
