Youth held with two stolen mobile phones in Guwahati city

GUWAHATI: A team of police personnel from Chandmari police station apprehended a youth from Amiya Nagar in the city on the charge of stealing mobile phones. The team managed to recover two stolen mobile phones from the youth's possession. The youth was identified as 20-year-old Pankaj Baishya, a resident of Amiya Nagar.

Guwahati Police posted on 'X' (formerly Twitter) about the incident, saying, "A CGPD team from Chandmari PS arrested one thug - Pankaj Baishya (20) of Amiya Nagar - and recovered 2 stolen mobile phones from his possession. Legal action initiated."
