Drive against corruption by NF Railway

GUWAHATI, Feb 1: A special 72-hour drive was launched from January 31, 2018 to check corruption in railway establishment following a directive from the Railway Ministry. The drive will cover commercial establishments throughout NF Railway.

An awareness drive was also launched to create awareness amongst railway users to discourage corrupt practices involving railway officials. Two Vigilance Helpline numbers 155210 and 9435550967 were also launched for general public to inform corrupt practices. During this period ambush checking drive will be taken up at potential places of corruption to detect any such cases, a press release said.
